The story behind the name
About The Krafty Koi
The Krafty Koi grew from a long-standing passion for koi, Japanese art and traditional craftsmanship. That inspiration is combined with modern laser engraving to create distinctive pieces that feel personal and refreshingly different from mass-produced gifts.
Every design is developed with close attention to detail, then made or finished by hand. As a small independent craft business, customers deal directly with the person creating their item.

Our Pond
A love of koi and Japanese-inspired design sits at the heart of The Krafty Koi. Our own pond and garden are a constant source of ideas.
A living source of inspiration
Movement, colour and balance
The Krafty Koi grew from a long-standing love of koi and Japanese-inspired design. The pond is more than a home for the fish; it is a place where colour, movement, form and tranquillity come together.
Many of the ideas behind our work begin here — in the character of the koi, the changing colours of the garden and the balance found in Japanese art and landscaping. Those influences find their way into the pieces we design, cut, engrave and finish by hand.
